The more dissonant an act of architecture is, the greater the reverbations.
The middle landscape is the tenuous context between urban and suburban areas, an indefinate landscape between the city and rural areas. In an act of democracy, each house is given the same amount of land and a facade made of louvers. Louvers act to animate not only the building’s exterior, but express the occupant’s desire to include or exclude the outside world. Like governing bodies, one can choose isolation or inclusion.
